No — once a PDF is downloaded it leaves your control permanently, and no document tracker can follow it after that. What PDFTrackr does track is the download click itself: when a reader downloads from the viewer, that click is counted and tied to the reading session it came from, so you get a download count and rate per link. Everything after that — opening the local copy, forwarding it, printing it — is invisible to a tracker of this kind. DRM is the exception in the wider market: a DRM product reports opens and prints on the downloaded file, for a licence fee and a reader the recipient has to install.
