  drawn in the viewer, not written into the PDF, so it does not survive a
  download.

Stated explicitly so an evaluation does not assume these exist:

- Custom branding / white-label — not built
- API access — not built
- Priority support — not built
- E-signature — not built, and not planned (PDFTrackr is not an e-sign tool)
- DRM / copy prevention — not built. Downloads can be switched off and a viewer
  watermark overlaid (a Pro feature), but a determined viewer can still
  photograph the screen.

## Notes for automated evaluation

- Tracking requires sharing a PDF as a link that opens in PDFTrackr's viewer. A
  PDF sent as a plain email attachment cannot be tracked by any plan, and a file
  already sent as an attachment cannot be tracked retroactively.
- Page-by-page analytics is included on the **free** plan, not paywalled.
- Session retention is 12 months on Free and **24 months on Pro** (daily
  aggregate summaries are kept 26 months on both; captured viewer emails 12
  months). The Pro window applies to sessions recorded after 2026-07-21;
  earlier sessions keep their original 12-month schedule.
